Hand leash or gun leash?

There’s lots of people howling at Dog Milk today about the retractable gun-shaped leash offered up by Povodokus. Here is my take: guns aren’t cool, but if you’re going to have one, might as well be a fake one. Somehow, I think that anyone who loves dog-ownership enough to shell out for an accessory like this probably isn’t the kind of person who will actually shoot their dog. Still, when it comes to novelty leashes, I think I prefer the Alice Wang hand leash.
